Roleplayr is a role-playing game management platform that allows users to create, organize, and manage characters, locations, events, and other game elements. The Service includes features for campaign management, world-building, and collaborative storytelling.

You retain all rights to content you create, upload, or share on Roleplayr ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Roleplayr a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that:
Roleplayr provides artificial intelligence and machine learning features that generate content based on your inputs, including but not limited to character descriptions, location details, storylines, and images (collectively "AI-Generated Content").
Artificial intelligence and machine learning are rapidly evolving technologies. Due to the probabilistic nature of these systems, AI-Generated Content may not always be accurate, complete, reliable, or appropriate for your intended use. When you use our AI features, you understand and agree that:

To the extent permitted by law, you own the AI-Generated Content you create using the Service. However, due to the nature of AI systems, similar or identical content may be generated for other users. Our ownership assignment does not extend to content generated for other users.
We reserve the right to use your inputs and AI-Generated Content to maintain, improve, and develop our Services, comply with applicable law, enforce our policies, and keep our Services safe.
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Roleplayr and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Roleplayr respects the intellectual property rights of others. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement and will terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
Roleplayr is designed to work with various tabletop role-playing game systems, including but not limited to Dungeons & Dragons® 5th Edition, Pathfinder®, Call of Cthulhu®, and other systems. All game system names, logos, and related trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
This product is an independent tool for game organization and management and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by any game publisher or rights holder. Roleplayr does not claim any ownership or rights to these game systems or their intellectual property.
Users are responsible for ensuring that any content they create or upload complies with the licenses and terms of use of their chosen game systems, including any Open Gaming Licenses (OGL), Community Content Agreements, or similar licensing frameworks.
You agree not to use the Service:
Some features of the Service may require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You will be charged at the beginning of your subscription period and on each renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial periods.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so through your account settings.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Roleplayr does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant that the results obtained from use of the Service will be accurate or reliable.
IN NO EVENT SHALL ROLEPLAYR, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE LIABILITY AROSE OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Roleplayr, its affiliates, and personnel from and against any costs, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from third-party claims related to:
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that Roleplayr shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Roleplayr operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
